RAWALPINDI: Tribute paid to Lance Naik Mahfooz on his 52nd martyrdom anniversary: On the occasion of the 52nd Martyrdom Day of Lance Naik Muhammad Mahfooz Shaheed (Nishah-e-Haider), the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and Services Chiefs have paid tribute to his remarkable sacrifice.
Lance Naik Mahfooz Shaheed exhibited immense bravery by silencing numerous enemy guns at the Wahga border. Despite sustaining critical injuries, Shaheed fearlessly took hold of the enemy’s machine gunner by the neck and neutralized him. This act of valor sets an exemplary standard for the guardians of our nation to emulate, stated the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release. The statement further emphasized that heroes like Lance Naik Mahfooz deserve profound honor and respect from the entire nation.
The act of bravery displayed by Lance Naik Mahfooz serves as a testament to the sacrifices made by the armed forces in safeguarding the defense of our country, the statement added.
