Saudi royal treat for brave police officer

In Islamabad, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, has expressed his intention to arrange a Royal Visit to Saudi Arabia for ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi and her family, as a gesture of appreciation for her brave actions in saving a woman from a violent mob in Lahore’s Achhra Market. A source close to the matter revealed that Ambassador Al-Malki conveyed this during a meeting at the Saudi embassy, where he commended the courageous police officer.

The source further disclosed that Ambassador Al-Malki praised ASP Shehrbano’s bravery and assured her that the Saudi government would cover all expenses for her and her family’s trip to Saudi Arabia as esteemed guests. He lauded ASP Naqvi for her unwavering commitment to duty and her adept handling of a potentially dangerous situation.

Additionally, the Assistant Superintendent of Police from Gulberg recently met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters.

General Munir acknowledged the significant contributions of Pakistani women across various fields. He remarked, “Since independence, Pakistani women have demonstrated their talent, resilience, and dedication, both domestically and internationally.”

Furthermore, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) has recommended Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi for the Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal (QPM).
