Novak Djokovic’s dominance in Grand Slams

Novak Djokovic embarked on his Grand Slam journey in 2005 at the tender age of 17. Fast forward to 2023, at the age of 37, the Serbian tennis maestro continued to assert his dominance on the grandest stages of the sport.

Commencing with a triumphant victory at the Australian Open, his ninth overall, where he defeated Stefano Tsitsipas in straight sets, the 37-year-old exhibited unwavering strength and determination. His winning streak continued with a dominant performance at Roland Garros in June, overcoming Casper Ruud. Although he faced a setback in the Wimbledon final against Carlos Alcaraz, the Belgrade-born athlete mounted a powerful comeback, decisively defeating Daniil Medvedev to secure the hard-court event in the United States of America.

This marked the fourth occasion that Djokovic clinched three Grand Slam titles in a single year, surpassing the legendary Roger Federer, who achieved this feat in 2004, 2006, and 2007, with his previous triumphs in 2011, 2015, and 2021
