Meet the richest woman in history — $100 Billion owner François Bettencourt-Meyer.

For the first time in history, a woman has achieved a groundbreaking feat by becoming the wealthiest lady, amassing an astonishing sum of money in her bank account!

As reported by Bloomberg, François Bettencourt-Meyer, a French woman, has surpassed the $100 billion mark in assets, securing her place as the first woman to reach such a remarkable milestone.

François is the proprietor of one of the world’s most renowned makeup brand companies and holds the 12th position among the wealthiest individuals globally, sharing the elite rank with figures such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, Mukesh Ambani, Amancio Ortega, and Gautam Adani.

At 70 years old, François is the sole heir to her parents and inherited the L’Oréal group of companies empire established by her father. Following her mother’s passing in 2017, François acquired a 33 percent stake in the company, along with other assets.

Currently serving as the vice-chairperson of the world’s largest cosmetic company, Françoise Beton Court Meyers is not only a successful businesswoman but also an accomplished author, having written several books on various subjects.

In her daily routine, François dedicates time to playing the piano and actively engages in charitable endeavors. The recent surge in François Bettencourt-Meyer’s wealth can be attributed to L’Oréal’s outstanding performance on the stock exchange this year, reaching its highest point since 1998.

With the family holding approximately 35 percent of L’Oreal’s shares, they stand as the single largest shareholders, with François’s husband serving as the company’s CEO, and her sons, Jean-Victor Meyers and Nicholas Meyers, serving as directors.
