Massive fire erupts at Peshawar’s Saddar shopping mall. 

A massive fire broke out in a shopping mall situated in the Saddar area of Peshawar on Monday. According to initial reports, firefighters from the Rescue department have been actively working to extinguish the fire for six hours.

The blaze ignited in Peshawar’s Time Center Plaza during the early hours of Monday, spreading to other floors of the mall. The plaza houses various shops selling mobile phones, electronics, garments, and more, drawing in hundreds of customers daily.

Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties. Rescue teams from different districts, including Khyber, Nowshera, Mardan, and Charsadda, were deployed to aid in the firefighting efforts.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown, though rescue officials have suggested possibilities like a short circuit or a gas leak.

In response to the incident, the district administration has initiated an inquiry and assured affected parties that relief and assistance will be provided. The rescue team has indicated that the fire has resulted in the destruction of hundreds of shops.
