In the UCL, Manchester City’s significant hurdle was Real Madrid in the semi-final, a challenge they overcame with a resounding 4-0 victory in the second leg at home, securing their passage to the final. The team displayed extraordinary resilience in the Premier League, overturning Arsenal’s 12-point lead to clinch the league title.
Simultaneously, in the FA Cup final, they effortlessly sailed past arch-rivals Manchester United with a 2-1 victory, with Ilkay Gundogan netting twice to secure the club’s seventh domestic title
