Pakistani forces thwart 3 terror attacks by BLA militants in Balochistan’s Mach.

The persistent assaults carried out by Baloch armed groups serve as a somber indication of the escalating militant violence in southwestern Pakistan. The country’s forces remain engaged in combating these militants, who are purportedly funded from abroad. The most recent incidents occurred in the Mach area of Balochistan, where the Balochistan Liberation Army ambushed Machh jail and various state buildings.

These terrorists, predominantly situated in Afghanistan and Iran, launched multiple rockets at buildings and the jail, resulting in several explosions that also inflicted damage on residential areas. Subsequent to the terrorist attack, gunfire ensued, leading Pakistani forces to respond promptly and necessitating an urgent call for police personnel from the sparsely populated region.

In response to the situation, the government declared an emergency in Machh’s hospitals to manage potential casualties. Moreover, Machh experienced a complete blackout, and the crucial highway connecting Quetta with Balochistan cities was closed.

Following hours of intense conflict, security forces successfully repelled the armed group’s attack, and fortunately, no casualties were reported. The well-executed defense by forces in Machh compelled the attackers to retreat.
