Rights activists demand removal of Fuuast acting registrar.

Activists from civil society are urging President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi, who serves as the chancellor of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast), and the federal caretaker education minister Madad Ali Sindhi to dismiss Assistant Prof Muhammad Siddique from the mathematics department, who is serving as the acting registrar of Fuuast. The demand is based on allegations of harassment against women, and they are calling for appropriate action to be taken against him in accordance with anti-harassment laws.
