Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), highlighted the significance of politics focused on serving the nation, promoting unity over division, and rejecting allegations and hatred.

In Lahore, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized the significance of politics focused on serving the nation, advocating unity over division, and rejecting allegations and animosity.

After a meeting with the leadership of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) at its headquarters on Friday, Bilawal called for justice in the Model Town case, urging accountability for the perpetrators.

Expressing confidence in the PPP’s dedication to fulfilling promises outlined in its manifesto, Bilawal pointed to the party’s track record of delivering on commitments compared to other political parties. He highlighted the exemplary health facilities provided in Sindh and pledged similar initiatives at the national level after the elections.

Addressing housing concerns post-flood, Bilawal disclosed that under PPP leadership, the Sindh government had built 2 million houses for flood victims. Notably, the ownership of these houses will be granted to women in the affected areas, demonstrating a commitment to gender inclusivity.

Responding to a question about the promise of free electricity up to 300 units, Bilawal outlined the PPP’s solarization plan, enabling citizens to generate their own electricity. He criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, questioning the party’s stance on inflation and the objectives if voted into power again.

Bilawal cautioned against potential political vendettas by the PTI and posed a question to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, seeking clarity on his agenda if he were to become the next premier. Reflecting on the Model Town incident, he called for justice, emphasizing the need to hold those involved accountable.

Bilawal expressed the PPP’s vision to transform Pakistan into a modern state and sought the support of the PAT.

Later, PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur announced their support for the PPP in the NA-127 constituency for the upcoming elections. Several leaders from PAT and PPP were present on the occasion.
