Karachi: Karachi girl finally reaches India for marriage: On Tuesday, Jaweria Khanum, who resides in Karachi, set off for India through the Wagah border crossing in order to wed an Indian citizen. As she entered India, her family said their goodbyes and wished her well. Jaweria encountered obstacles in her initial plans to travel to India due to travel restrictions imposed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent visa complications. However, after a five-year wait, she has finally obtained a visa and is now ready to marry her fiancé, Sameer Khan Yousafzai, in India. Jaweria shared the challenges she faced, including two visa rejections, before eventually being granted a 45-day visa. She happily acknowledged that her love story with Sameer would reach its pinnacle with their marriage. Their connection began in 2018 and has grown into a profound bond. Jaweria revealed that her future husband and in-laws are eagerly anticipating her arrival at the Attari border. Once she enters India, she will travel from Amritsar to Kolkata, where the wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place.
